side for the first time since PMCA merged with MCA at the start of
97/98. Since that season we had lost 6 games in a row to Carlisle.

a row and are only 1 win away from the record set in 92/93 of 8 wins

The 3rds had their 2nd
1 run victory for the season. This also goes with their 4 run and 5
run victories earlier this season.

5/27 in the 3rds which is his 4th “5 wickets in an
innings” for the club and 2nd this season.
The 4ths winning margin of an
Innings and 101 runs over Ferndale was the clubs 5th
highest winning margin. Club record is still an Innings and 238
runs in the tops in 94/95.

in the 4ths which is his 18th “5 wickets in an innings”
for the club. He extends his club record to 18 “5 fors”.

after scoring 105 for the 2nd wicket with Joel “Budge”
Norman on the weekend. The other partnerships have been 124 and 193
runs.

Bruce Towie scored his first
century for the club in just his 12th game, he scored 111
runs in the 3rds. This is the 13th century for the Club
this season which beats the old record of 12 centuries scored in
2004/05.
The partnership of
181 between Bruce Towie and
Dixie Joy was a 3rd
team record for the 2nd wicket beating the old mark of
164 set in 94/95 between Garry “Choco” Powell and David “Normie”
Stoate. It narrowly missed the club record for the 2nd
wicket of 187 set in 95/96 between Adam “Quokka” Quinn and Steve
Coyle.
Tom Haines had a tremendous
debut for the club in the 5ths on the weekend scoring 47 runs and
taking 6/32. His bowling figures are now the club record best
bowling on debut surpassing “Phil “Old man time” O’Neill who took
6/44 in his first game for Scarborough in 89/90.

games including the last 7 Sundays in a row.
Daniel “SOC” Powell hit a
century in just his 6th game for the club in the 3rds on
the weekend by scoring 104no, it took his old man “Choco” nearly 150
games to hit first century for the club. Apparently it was scored
off just 60 balls!!
Ross “New boy” Fraser and
Daniel “SOC” Powell had a record
partnership of 147no runs for the 5th wicket in the 3rds
beating the old record of 143 runs by – Peter “Slippery” Blanch and
Andrew “Atko” Atkins last season.
Craig Allen scored a century in
just his 3rd game for the club on the weekend in the
4ths. His innings of 119 consisted of 11 fours and 10 sixes. This
was the 2nd most number of sixes in an innings behind
Shane Exell’s 12 sixes scored in his 196 from 1999/00.
