Scarborough Mercantile Cricket Club fields 5 teams in the Perth Cricket Association (PCA) hard wicket competition.  We currently have teams playing in 1st Grade, 4th Grade, 6th Grade, 8th Grade and the One Day Grade.

 

Scarborough Mercantile Cricket Club was formed in 1989 following the merger of Doubleview and Lake Monger Cricket Clubs.  Both Doubleview and Lake Monger were formed in 1978/79 and fielded one team each in the Perth Mercantile Cricket Association.

 

Matches are played on Saturday afternoons between 1pm and 6pm.  Our home grounds include Bennett Park in Doubleview, Woodlands Res in Woodlands and Empire Ave Res in Wembley Downs.

 

Training is on Tuesday & Thursday nights commencing 5pm at the Bennett Park nets.

 

The club has a bar that is open from 5pm on training nights and Saturdays match days from 12noon for those not keen to pull on the pads!!

 

The club has various functions throught the season including a Golf Day, Race Day at Belmont Racecourse, Horse racing Fund Raising Night, Christmas Function for the kids and End of Season Social Cricket Match.
